Our History

In 1968, Richard Bresson worked at the Hardware Store when it was known as Leng’s Hardware. He worked there until 1987 when he was able to purchase the Hardware Store himself. This made him not just an employee, but the owner of Leng’s Hardware. In December of 1998, Galesburg and Leng’s made national news when a gas leak caused an explosion and the store was lost. In July of 1999, the store was rebuilt and re-branded as Galesburg Hardware. Richard, Karen and their two eldest sons Scott and Bill ran the store together. Sadly, Richard passed away in December of 2016. The store is still run by Karen, Scott, and Bill. We love to help people and make their day go a little easier by helping them choose the right tools for their jobs.

We are conveniently located in between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek, at 10 W Michigan Ave., Galesburg MI 49053. We are one of the best places to come to for your hunting, fishing, and hardware needs! We can get our hands on basically whatever you need if it's not in the store!
